SETUP

Three steps

  1. 1

    Claim your @handle. Do it on the front page. You'll download a small file: .relay-yourname.json.

  2. 2

    Put that file in your project folder. Treat it like a password.

  3. 3

    Paste this into the AI that builds your app. Type your @handle first so the instruction names it. If friends are already on 1-z-2, add their @handles too: the instruction will tell your AI what their apps can send, so it can suggest what to build.

THE INSTRUCTION · PASTE INTO YOUR AI 
Connect this app to 1-z-2 so it can exchange useful items with other people's independently made apps. Fetch https://relay.1-z-2.com/integrate.md and follow it exactly. If you cannot open web addresses, ask me to paste that page's contents instead. Use the handle "yourname" with the credentials in .relay-yourname.json. Keep this app's natural data format; 1-z-2 adapts between app formats automatically.

If your AI can't open web links (the Gemini app can't), use Copy with the setup page included.

WHAT YOU GET

Every app gets the same five parts

Your AI adds them in your app's own style. You pick which of your items can be shared.

  3. 03Send — a send button on your items.
  4. 04Conversation — short notes between you and a friend.
  5. 05Updates — what your friends' apps can do now, with a button to add it to yours.
AFTER SETUP

Then do this

  1. 01 · ADD A FRIEND Type their @handle and send a request.
  2. 02 · THEY ACCEPT Nobody can send to you until you both agree.
  3. 03 · SEND Pick an item and send it. The first one takes about a minute.
